Your self-drive holiday starts at spectacular Glenshee, north of Perth on the A93 and is known as Glen of the Fairies in gaelic. You will drive through its romantic, wild and rugged landscape over the highest mountain pass in Britain before arriving in the Highlands. Here you can visit the largest glen in Scotland and enjoy the famous beauty of Loch Ness and perhaps even spot Nessie herself.
From Inverness continue on your tour to one of the most beautiful sea lochs on the remote and breathtaking North West coast surrounded by impressive mountains.
After exploring the area, drive further south to experience one of the most brooding and dramatic glens in Scotland steeped in bloody history. From here you can also discover one of the historic glens where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised the Jacobite Standard with stunning views down Loch Shiel.
Finally travelling down the picturesque coastline, end your tour with a stay in a castle overlooking a beautiful loch before returning home via enchanting Loch Lomond.
