Whisky Tasting Tour and Exploring Scottish Malts - 4 Nights

'Uisge Beatha' meaning 'water of life' is the Gaelic for whisky and holds a special place in the hearts of all Scots as their own national drink.

Learn more about Scotland's liquid gold on a pleasurable tour that celebrates the love of whisky.  This tour is for anyone who has ever enjoyed a wee dram, from novices to connoisseurs, as our experts will inform and guide you through tastings of different whiskies produced by distilleries throughout Scotland on a tasting journey of discovery.

Your first night will be spent in an old coaching inn near St Andrews where you will be given a special whisky tasting tour of Scotland, so you can discover how the different geographical locations influence the wonderful flavours of the whiskies.  From there you will journey to Speyside, the very heart of Scotland's malt whisky production, where you will be based for the next 3 nights.  On your doorstep are some of the most famous distilleries in the world, which you can visit to get a better understanding of how whisky is made, followed by tastings at the end.

As a special treat for our clients, we have included not only 2 in-depth distillery tours with tastings, but also during one of the tours you will have the exclusive privilege of hand-filling your own bottle of whisky from a cask, then capping it yourself, labelling it, signing it and then having it numbered and marked in the official distillery register.  This is an unforgettable experience and your own bottled whisky to take home is a unique personal irreplaceable momento of your Scottish whisky tour.  Back at your nearby comfortable hotel, you can relax and perhaps enjoy a dram in the hotel bar which has over 200 whiskies for you to choose from, so you are guaranteed a pleasurable time and a good night's sleep!  Alternatively if you are feeling energetic why not follow one of the Whisky Smuggler Trails in the area.

'Sláinte' (The Gaelic equivalent of 'Cheers' or 'Good Health' and said throughout Scotland when you raise your glass before taking your first sip of whisky with friends or family).
