Home safely and time to reflect on our wonderful holiday. we had the best time which was greatly enhanced by the lovely people and the places we stayed in due to your suggestion everyone was so kind and nice and nothing was too much trouble. The lovely homes we were privileged to stay in we're so comfortable and we were looked after really well. We absolutely loved Orkney and Shetland and felt we had gone back in time I just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you both so very much for your enormous help with making this holiday such a success it would never have been so easy and enjoyable without you. Kind Regards. Richard and Cherry Hunt

Roger and Elayne, great to hear from you both after a few years! We are now doing France at www.francemadeeasy.com as well as www.irelandmadeeasy.co.uk We do book places in England for clients but don't have a website for that. If we can ever help again we will be delighted to do so. Best Wishes, Marie.

Some years ago we toured Scotland with your assistance. At that time you were intending to set up "England made Easy" and you introduced us to a place to stay in Yorkshire which was every bit as good as the Scottish places you recommended. We do not know whether you fulfilled your intention to set up "England made Easy", but last week we stayed at the Country House Hotel in Great Cransley near Kettering. It was well up to your high standard and in our opinion would merit inclusion in your recommended places. Best wishes, Roger & Elayne Moisey

Aaron and Rebecca Knight April 2013 said at 9:21 on Tuesday 23rd of April 2013:

Marie, With great sorrow we wait in Edinburgh Airport for our flight home this morning. A few comments: Maybe our perspective of how perfect this trip was is skewed because every day had great weather, and even the few lightly rainy days didn't stop any of our plans... but here goes: Our country house hotel near Blairgowrie was probably the nicest place overall because of the size and beauty of the room, with the tower/circular sitting area, and the house itself was the most decorated and ornate and absolutely beautiful. The Dornoch Castle room in Dornoch was maybe the best room alone in and of itself. Our country lodge in Sleat, Skye was a very close second-best to those... but had absolutely the best location/surroundings & BEST dining & food of the entire trip. The lodge’s dining was obviously better than 2 other places with Michelin stars! Rebecca is considering leaving me if Chef Marcel at the lodge will take her... HA HA HA!!! (Just kidding). Seriously though... I think the two nights at Skye were the best part of the trip. We drove hundreds of miles in a full day all around Skye and saw Kilt Rock, Quiriang, Fairy Glenn, Neist Point, and drove every main road! The Balmoral Hotel was fantastic, and the city was great. The best things to do for visits in the city are of course the Castle, and we did the palace tour at Hollyrood, St Giles, climbed to the top of the Sir Walter Scott Monument, and took the green bus tour of the best inner parts of old/new Edinburgh. The local folks at our lodge on Skye warned us about the unreliable/expensive ferry, and so we ended up driving back to Edinburgh through the upper Glenn Coe route you marked, which was an amazing Must-See route that a tour of Scotland isn't complete without. One surprise that you may want to emphasize for anyone that stays at Dornoch or nearby is the Must-See attraction in that area is the fantastic Dunrobin Castle. This was by far the most beautiful castle, with the best interior, best grounds, and features. The falconry show (falcon/hawk/owl action!) Made it even more outshine other castles in Scotland. We drove the scary road over the mountains to Applecross, back and forth! It's different and beautiful both ways. The road is in good shape and not as dangerous as the locals said it used to be. Boy is it the most dramatic exile rating drive, ever! Really really good you mentioned that... a highlight of the trip. Anyway... much more could be said, but your bookings were perfect, the map you sent to our first country house hotel was pure gold - especially the green highlights (add a comment for Dunrobin for future clients). The BMW Z4 from the rental company was the absolute perfect ideal FUN sports car for the trip. WOW what fun. Thanks SO MUCH Marie, you gave us one of the best vacations ever, as well as memories of a lifetime, Aaron & Rebecca Knight St Norwell. MA

Hi Marie - we would like to thank you for making our "dream" Scottish holiday all that we dreamed it would be and so much more. Working with you was wonderful - you managed to take the "stress" out of planning and gave us more than we asked for in our holiday. You provided detailed instructions, recommendations and suggestions which were appreciated more than you know. We had a wonderful time meeting you and sharing an evening while were there and highly recommend your services to anyone thinking of visiting Scotland. Our only complaint... our trip wasn't long enough. :-) Cheers ! Mike & Ginger

Hi Marie Sorry for the delay in replying to your email- we only arrived home last week, and have Internet problems since. Our Scottish trip was great. Your maps, along with our GPS only got Us misdirected a few times!.Thank you for all the suggestions on where to go and what to do. We will recommend your services to our friends touring Scotland. we hope to be backs in 2 years,so will explore another part of Scotland them. The accommodation was fantastic, and all the hosts were very forthcoming with what to Do in their area. Our bedroom in Oban overlooked the bay,and even the walk up the hill didn\'t deter us. Brian and Valerie were very welcoming and helpful. Janet and Robyn at the Isle of Skye were great and made us feel very at home. Castle Stuart was a great experience, and the dinner at night was a delight, although too much food. The steps were a but daunting, but it was fun. Ian and Dian in Morayshire were perhaps our favourites. Although a bit off the beaten track, they were very helpful and welcoming. Hope this helps you with your services, when my Internet service is restored, I will put some comments on trip advisor. Thank you once again for a great trip - we really enjoyed it and appreciated Having all our accommodation taken care of. Beth Harradine Sent from my iPad

Marie, We had an absolutely wonderful time in Scotland and enjoyed the hosts at the B & B's very much. Our favorites included: Fochabers country house B&B -lovely hosts and beautiful rooms and setting. The little Nairn hotel -again beautiful setting, wonderful hosts, great food. Pentland Lodge-charming, down to earth host, loved Molly (dog) "the greeter", great location, lovely room. Ullapool -wonderful hosts, beautiful views and room and a lovely co-host "rottie" helping out The inn on the Isle of Skye was very accommodating when we showed up early due to horrible weather that day, which we really appreciated. We were just hoping to hang out and have some coffee but they let us check in to our room which was very nice. We enjoyed the stay in the castle as well. It was fun and would have enjoyed another night there. We were hoping to see a ghost but none to be seen. Though Andy did blame a ghost when he stole the covers from me in the middle of the night! They even had gluten free oatmeal-a first and only during the whole trip. So that was a treat for me. All the hosts were helpful when it came to helping us find places to eat and make dinner reservations or suggestions of things to do. Most also had gluten free toast or cereal available for me. We also loved our hotel in central Glasgow. The doormen were just so friendly and helpful, so was the concierge. The location was perfect as well. We really did have a wonderful time and just loved Scotland. We do hope to come back soon. This weekend we are having a party to show the pictures we took (over 1300 of them). So many people want to see them, why not have a party? I'm trying to thin them out to just the best. Denise and Andy, Oro Valley. Arizona.

Marie and Everyone Else, You folks had executed a FANTASTIC two-week Scotland Made Easy vacation for our family a few years ago. We are planning at trip to Germany in the early summer of 2013 and wondered if you did such wonderful things for that area. We know you took on France a few years ago and had our fingers crossed that you might be doing something similar in Germany as well. Please let us know if this is something you do or if you can point us in the right direction for another agency similar to yours (if it exists!!!). Thanks so much. Sandy and Ron Landis P.S. We used to be in Memphis, TN but are located in the Chicago area now.
