Thanks, Marie, for organising a very interesting and beautiful tour of Scotland for us. We had a very good time and you did an excellent job. Our accommodation was varied regarding luxury and space (it was planned this way), but we were always received and taken care of in a very friendly and welcoming manner. We loved all the places we stayed at for different reasons and we liked the variety (a castle, manor houses, B&Bs etc.). The advice and tips of our hosts as well as your own were useful and made the trip more rewarding.

Hi Marie and Elspeth -This is a very tardy reply but wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to Scotland!! Your help was much appreciated from our lovely driver to the wonderful B&Bs we stayed in. The map was very helpful as we heard about the landslide on the radio and took the diversion, made the return to Glasgow a little longer but saw some wonderful scenery. I'm afraid my daughter who is studying in Glasgow wants to stay and not come home, I can understand why. A lovely country and lovely people. Will certainly use your services again and rec. you to anyone planning a visit. Jackie Sweeney and John White

Hi Marie, Thanks again for a great trip! We enjoyed all of the lodging, and we found your city and tour write-ups to be invaluable. We do have some thoughts that future clients may find useful/interesting. Of course, some of these are based on our 14-night trip. 1. The number of tourists on the roads and at historic sites was minimal during our trip from 6/4-6/18, which we learned was because most of the UK schools were still in session. By going to Scotland in early June, we beat the peak of the tourist season (both from the UK and other countries). We would definitely recommend this time of the year for visiting Scotland, especially if driving is involved. 2. We think it is a good idea to spend more than one night in a location. There is a lot to see, and spending just one night in a location doesn't give much time. Having a whole day that is free to explore is useful. 3. We found that studying the UK roads sign material that you provided before our trip was VERY useful. Many of the UK road signs are quite different than in the U.S, so it would good to be somewhat familiar with them before driving in the UK. 4. Roaming charges from U.S. cell carriers are outrageous, so we bought a cheap cell phone (Vodafone) with pre-paid minutes when we got to Scotland. This worked out great, but reloading the phone with new minutes proved difficult. To do so, you had to go to a Vodafone store, which aren't located in many rural parts of Scotland. One could also go online and buy minutes, but Vodafone (and the other UK carriers as well) do NOT accept U.S. credit cards (credit cards with US billing addresses). So, the lesson is to buy a bunch of minutes when you can so you don't run out when/if you're in rural parts of the country. 5. Book your trip with Scotland Made Easy!!!! Thanks again! Regards, Tom and Natasha

Hi Marie and Elspeth - All of our B& Bs in Ireland were excellent. Great meals, charming hosts and very helpful and accommodating including a ride to the airport at the last place we stayed. I believe we all thought some of these witty wonderful women would easily be someone we would love to have as friends and neighbors. Ballina was great. We arrived the day they lost the match to Dublin. Met so many interesting Irish folks at the pubs that night. Did a bit of dancing. Great job altogether. Thank you. Sincerely Herm and Sue. USA

Marie - first of all let us again thank you for the wonder arraignments you made for our trip to Scotland a couple of years ago. It was truly a trip of life time. We are planning on traveling again to Europe in the fall of 2014 (Sept). Lorraine and I, wish to spend 5 days in Paris, and then take the train to Rome for 5 days of tourism. I not sure if you can again work your magic, but any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated. Bob & Lorraine

Marie: Lucia and I were extremely impressed with your company's service. From the moment that we checked into our hotel (where we were upgraded to a Master Suite) in Edinburgh to the remarkable location and hospitality in our B&B in the centre of St. Andrews, we knew that we had made the right decision to retain your services. You obviously have a grasp on the best places to stay. The weather was typical Scotland but the inns were anything but typical. Your choices helped make it a very special week in Scotland. Thanks, Don and Lucia

Hi Marie, I am just about to finish my scrapbook from my trip! The trip round Scotland was marvelous! I loved independent travel because we were able to take as much time as we wanted to explore the sights. We spent all day at Donottar and we enjoyed coversing with Sheelah at green lawns! I loved seeing the castles and little towns in between. We took joy in even seeing a pictish standing stone in Dunfallandy. We enjoyed visiting the clava cairns and the culloden battlefields. We had good times laughing about the strange round a bout exits and driving on the opposite side of the road and the car. We were blessed to meet relatives in our clan and see the land of our forebearers. Most of all, we were immersed in a sense of wonder when it came to seeing beautiful historical sights of the olde world. Scotland is calling us back every day. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for giving us the experience. It was a wonderful bachlorette trip of our dreams and a perfect way to celebrate our upcoming marriages. Dana Elise Smith, filmmaker (USA)

Hello Marie We are still in Paris, at the moment we are here until next summer, but then we will see what is next. We had a wonderful trip this summer, as always, our hosts (and hostesses) were lovely, and we had a fabulous time. We particularly enjoyed the Southern region, both of our families are from there originally, so it was very interesting for us to visit that area and see some of our own family history. All of our hosts were great with Rachel as well, so that was a very nice benefit. Not sure at the moment what we will do next year for vacations, given that we are still finding out what our next adventure will be job-wise. But of course, if we are planning a trip back to Scotland next year, you can be sure we will keep you in mind. I have already mentioned your services to some of my colleagues and friends, hopefully some of them will seek you out if and when they head towards Scotland (or Ireland). Hope the rest of your fall is great and that you and your team have a great rest of the year. Talk to you soon I am sure. Regards from Paris Jim (and Karen and Rachel too)

Wonderful trip. Terrific and patient assistance from Marie and Elspeth. All accommodations were better than expected. Kind and courteous staff. Great help with ideas for visiting en route from one B&B to next. I could wax on but will instead wax off by saying I highly recommend them!
