It's that busy time of year again with lots going on with families and friends - time to plan your next getaway for 2018! What about joining us at Scotland Made Easy?

Our news now is that Marie has decided to "semi retire"  but will continue to personalize itineraries and tours for  past clients only  and new clients having a minimum of 7 nights with us. This is for holidays in Scotland, Ireland and in France.

We are now in our 17th year of business and have been doing customized tours and itineraries round Scotland for many wonderful clients, many of whom we have met personally.

We  will keep the online shop above for both Scotland and Ireland.

In the online shop above, you can buy and download a selection of tours and  itineraries for both Scotland and Ireland, as well as area guides for the regions you want to visit, including maps and accommodation listings with weblinks, as well as contacts for car hire deals.

We know the places to go and the roads less traveled! Escape to the "wilds" with us through our online itineraries and area guides with maps. Maybe do a "wild walk" with  one of our guides to forage round lochs for seafood and then cook it?

See the NC 500, the Fairy Pools, mysterious Standing Stones and Megaliths, unusual bridges, stunning scenery and much much more. Follow in the footsteps of Diana Gabaldon's characters? Stay in a hotel where JK Rowling wrote one of her Harry Potter books? Maybe experience a wonderful Afternoon Tea there? Idea?

Our area guides can help you with all this.

First time visitors - not sure where to go?  Discover that secret and hidden Scotland? The swirl of the bagpipes where you didn't expect? A roaring fire and a dram of malt at the end of the day - idea?

  •  Golfing enthusiast? Want to try out some of those lesser known links courses?
  • Do a whisky tasting in a tiny museum which has whisky artefacts including an illicit still?
  • Like to immerse yourself in the culture and history of generations before?

Just drive your hire car yourselves at your own pace and discover the beauty of Scotland on roads less travelled.

Our online area guides and Scottish Driving Tours and Itineraries contain maps which have been designed specially for us by a local cartographer, as well as information for deals in car hire, including a company hiring out larger and more upmarket luxury cars and sports cars.

We also include information and guidance on air, ferry and train travel to help our clients.

Our detailed Area Guides (containing accommodation contacts and weblinks), you will find many  award winning niche accommodations  offering a wide variety of experiences from staying in a self catering cave or a converted monastery on Loch Ness, to log cabins in stunning scenery, as well as historic castles, grand country mansion house hotels and cosy little hotels some of which have Michelin star restaurants, good quality 4 and 5 star B&Bs, lighthouses and traditional thatched cottages.  Stay at a luxury B&B actually on the shores of Loch Ness or a converted railway station or church? Stay in a lovely little countryside B&B where your host gives archery lessons or stay in a beautiful little hotel on its own little island?

None of the accommodations have paid to be in our guides as we have personally chosen them.

In our online shop above, we have a wide variety of Scottish driving tours and itineraries  for 4 nights, 7 nights, 10 nights and 14 nights including informative websites and links and contacts.

We have also added some of our Irish Area Guides and our own Irish Tourist map, on to our online shop for our clients who want to go to Ireland and do their own bookings!
